Global was started by Guy and Robyn Bouchard in 1993. From the beginning, the Bouchard’s decided that the most efficient way to manage short-term rental properties was to have the properties concentrated in a centralized location allowing better attention to guest services and owner maintenance.
In 2000, Windsor Palms was the first community to offer a huge amenity center with an Olympic sized pool, movie theater, fitness center, sundry store and a 24-hour manned gated entrance. Global quickly grew to the largest sales and management company within Windsor Palms. In 2003, Global followed up with the same success in Windsor Hills.
In the early 2000′s, the Bouchard’s made a critical decision for the future of the Global companies by hiring a full-time IT Manager and to focus on web design and internet marketing. Bill Downs, Director of IT, quickly helped Global achieve its goals by having some of the best websites in the industry. The websites drew lots of renters and buyers, which fueled the growth of the companies. Simultaneously, some of the top real estate agents in the industry started flocking to Global because they wanted their clients to have a top-notch management company. Bill now oversees the entire Media Division for Global, which encompasses Website Development, Photography, Video, Social Media and Graphic Design.
Another key addition to Global was bringing on Russ Kraft as the General Manager in late 2004. Russ brought expertise from the hotel and resort industry and helped bring a new level of service and experience to the Property Management Division. With Russ’ help, the Property Management Division has grown to be one of the largest vacation home companies located in Central Florida, by maintaining the same vision of managing in only the top upscale resort communities including Paradise Palms, Champions Gate, Vista Cay, Emerald Island, Reunion and Oakwater.
Global utilizes the latest in Lead Management technologies, which allows maximizing revenue to owners. In recent years, Global has expanded its tour operator business to the entire world helping to generate sales on a year-round basis. Global’s Reservation Department has grown over 80% in the past few years and, with current marketing strategies, plans are to continue with that growth.
In 2011 Global saw a need and opportunity to go into long-term property management. With the affordability of real estate due to the economic downturn, it became necessary for Global to help owners by offering this service. Global hired Stacy Burgess to grow the division and now Global has a portfolio of over 800 total properties under management.
The Global Team continues to be on the cutting edge in Real Estate and Property Management Services. Global is focused on new markets (both local and international) for its management and sales efforts. Global has grown to be a leader in the industry but still remains true to its original vision to offer a higher level of service to its clients.
